Yellow Split Peas have a soft texture and mild flavor. The Yellow Split pea has more of an earthy flavor than a whole dried pea and is similar to the lentil in its uses and nutrients. These peas are most commonly used in thick soups and stews, but can also be added to dips, casseroles and stuffing. Each case consists of twenty pounds.
